Meg exhausted from a long day of shopping!
As you will read below, Cole spent a weekend with his brother, dad, and mom in Memphis. Meg and I stayed home in Nashville and Kara and her friend Sarah Grace came from Starkville. We had a great time eating out, shopping, watching Soap net (they may have gotten me addicted to One Tree Hill), and I also got Kara addicted to Friday Night Lights. Meg was great on Saturday as we drug her around downtown Franklin and the Green Hills area. I was a little scared because right before we left Meg ruined her outfit and the bouncy seat cover due to her diarrhea. So I was fully prepared with lots of extra clothes etc, but we did not need any of them. Saturday afternoon when we got home I started making Lasagna and Meg took a nap. During htis time the weather started to get bad. When Meg woke up I fed her and then Kara even ended up cleaning out the closet so we could get in it if necessary. Sure enough, before Meg even finished her bottle, Meg, me, Kara, Sarah Grace, and Hurley (and Inky...a toy Hurley found as the closet was cleaned out) stuffed ourselves in the closet. We stayed there for about 10-15 minutes and entertained Meg with the lights on everyone's cell phones. Luckily we survived and it never even got too bad at our house, but that Channel 2 map had it heading stratight towards us! So now, once we get out of the closet I realize what a mess I left the kitchen in. I was half way through making lasagna when this all began, so my noodles are all stuck together in the pot and stuff is strown everywhere. But, I got the lasagna made and put in the oven and while the girls played with Meg. After all this trauma and excitement Meg even managed to roll over for Kara and SG. This was only her second time to roll tummy to back. But, it definitely happened with more finess and style points this time.
