Mothers Day Weekend

Meg made me some very special treats at school for my first mothers day. One is a collage of photos of Meg and her friends at school the other is her handprint and footprint. They were wrapped for me and everything on the Friday before sitting with her stuff. It was a very nice treat especially since I had been at the zoo all day with 300 9-10th graders and I was in charge. Then on Satruday I had to go to my last class in this series of workshops I have been attending at MTSU the last 2 years. Not really the way I wanted to spend my 1st mothers day weekend. But, I survived, almost starved, they forgot to order our lunch and then showed up with Pizza's after 1, when lunch was on the schedule for 11:30. That was par for the course for this experience, everything has been unorganized. Then on Saturday evening we (including Kara) packed up our things to head to Jackson. Meg was in such a great mood when we got there and was even able to stay up and play with Grana Lele and Papa Chuck a little while. Then on Sunday we went to church and then headed for Brownsville where Meg was bombarded with crazy family. She had a good time and then we stopped off and Grandma Jane's and were able to see her and Raye Raye, Andrew and Leroy. Leroy is going to have a baby at his house in about 2 months and he was very intriguied by Meg. Meg loved dogs and was interested in Leroy and Bunk, my uncle Rays dog. I do not think Meg realized dogs come in so many sizes. We brought the camera with us to Jackson, but left the battery at home charging. So there are not real mothers day pictures that we have. I have to get them from Kara.
