catching up...

We have been out of town on the weekends and crazy during the week here lately and we also misplaced our camera cord.... Also, if you will notice I have not really taken many pictures lately, I think mainly because she is always moving so it is so hard to capture her face.
Meg turned 10 months on September 24th. That weekend Cole went to Texas with his brother Ryan and friends and I went to Jackson for a baby shower and for Meg to see grandparents and great-grandparents. Also, "auntie Anna" came home and Meg and I got to approve of her new "friend". We also got to visit with baby Caleb Naffziger he is so handsome and grown-up. We have not seen him since June.

Then the following week was packed with something almost every evening. I had parent teacher conferences and a Thursday night football game. Then on Thursday night Cole's parents came and took us to dinner before the football game. Then that weekend our friend Corey came up from Oxford to go to the football game with Cole and Ron. Mimi reluctantly (haha) stayed home with Meg. I left school early on Friday for Tunica for Kara's 21st birthday and then spent the night Saturday in Memphis with friends from college. I think we all had a great weekend and Corey brought Corey some fun stuff from Oxford. This is an autographed copy of the Jevan Snead Sports Illustrated and an autographed Ole Miss football. We have to keep Corey around, he has connections!

Then this week was Homecoming at CHS, which is always crazy. Luckily this year I was not in charge :). We also got Meg a flu shot this week, and my car stopped taking gas. To fix it only cost us about $900. Finally tonight we found the camera cord and are trying to catch up on our world, but most importantly Meg's.

Since October 1, Meg has been wearing her fall attire...including pumpkins and candy corn. This candy corn dress was one of the 1st things I purchased for her last fall. It looked sooo big at the time. Don't worry though she can wear it for two months, there is a turkey on the other side of the dress. Also, as you can see they have been playing beauty salon at daycare again...PIGTAILS!!

Meg also has finally gotten another tooth(#2)! Not sure if you can see it, but this is a darn good effort!
Beek a Boo!
Meg's hair looked like a really bad wig this morning, this picture actually does not even do it justice. Somehow she looks cute no matter what. Meg also LOVES to play with my makeup every morning as I get ready, she loves the brushes and one of the shiny compact cases the best. She is all girl!

Just a few other things that have happened lately...

At 10 months Meg started boycotting baby food all together. Some of her favorite foods are spaghetti (but really anything with noodles), chicken pot pie, kiwi, taco soup, mandarin oranges, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies (just kidding that is just Cole and I)

Meg also is really enjoying being read to more. My mother, Grana Lele read to her a lot when we were there a few weekends ago and she also has to hear Goodnight Moon at least 2x before bed. 5 little monkeys is another favorite she loves to "jump" while reading.

She also has just gotten interested in our stairs...the going up and going down part...she climbed a couple up tonight.
