Meg is 22 months :)

Meg was 22 months old on Friday and she celebrated by recovering from the stomach bug and having a mother that was suffering severely from it. So she got to watch Mickey Mouse, 101 Dalmations, and part of Shrek. We also took lots of naps and luckily Cole went to work late, and came home early.

I cannot believe it is time to start planning her 2nd birthday party!! It will be so fun, she knows what is going on now and will be sooo into it. Funny story as of late...my friend Alli was here and she walked in with a festive computer case and Meg said "Present, Present for Mary Clark, for Meg?" Much to her dismay it was only a computer case. Meg really has gotten into coloring and she LOVES stickers. She is definitely into doing "art work" and other crafty things. I am going to have to stretch my imagination to entertain her soon. She also is really into singing her ABC's, the Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Twinkle Twinkle. She always wants me and Cole to sing along...we are quite the trio. But, we will ofter catch her singing to herself the sings as well. She obviously misses a few words/phrases, but it is adorable. She also still loves to read. She amazes me that we can read a book once or twice and then she can finish the sentences. I caught her reading "5 Little Pumpkins" to one of her Loveys the other day, and she was doing a pretty good job. She is so inquisitive and points out everything she knows, and asks "What's that???" to things she does not. Obviosuly, as soon as I try to video any of this...she totally shuts down. So you just have to catch her in the act. She has a great memory of people and things and it is so fun to watch her.

On the flipside, there are plenty of fits that are often unexplained and she tends to get randomly VERY clingy. But, I think that is part of being almost 2 as well as just getting a litle sister. She is also quite bossy. She loves to tell her friends, parents, and Hurley what to do. We are working hard on manners and some days are better than others.
