We met my friend Lauren and her 8 month old daughter Piper at the Nashville Zoo on Friday. We had a great time and I cannot wait until all 3 girls are old enough to be playing all together. Meg already adores Piper and talks about her all the time. Piper spent as much time staring at Mary Clark as she did the animals, so I think one day they will all get along well. This was my first time to do something this adventurous with the two girls without a helper. Having another adult was definitely helpful, but I was a little nervous that both my girls could end up having a break down at the same time. But, the trip was really a great success. There was very little fussing on any one's part and Mary Clark was probably the best behaved. Here are a few pictures Lauren took. I was a bit pre-occupied and never had a chance to get out my camera.
