Happy Halloween

Meg has been celebrating Halloween since Friday. Friday she enoyed a third day at school and got to trick-or-treat with her school friends to some teacher rooms at CHS.
I was very worried she would not wear her costume and had been talking ot her about being a puppy dog all week long and she was not too keen on it. She even the morning of told me "Meg not be a puppy dog, she is kitty cat" (yes she always talks about herself in 3rd person). So I was not sure how it would go, but luckily she put on her costume at school and went on her merry way. She came home with lots of goodies.

Then on Saturday we went to downtown Franklin to Pumpkinfest. Kara was here and she and Barrett joimed us down there. Meg enjoyed the petting zoo, painted a pumpkin and even rode a pony. The pony ride was definitely impressive, we were so proud of her for being so brave. Mary Clark was happy as clam in her stroller and really enjoyed the nice weather.

Lastly, tonight, she was raring to go and excited to wear her costume, well minus the hood part. She had it on as soon as nap time was over...but we had a few things to do before trick or treating. Lauren, Josh and Piper came over and we ate dinner first and then took the Buzzing BumbleBee and the Pouting Puppy Dog out to trick or treat. Piper was just taking it all in and Meg caught on super fast and had a great time. She was much better at saying thank you than trick or treat, but I am sure next year it may be the opposite. She even put her hood on and left it for a majority of the night. Mary Clark enjoyed a nice evening stroll as well. She has enjoyed a sucker and some sweet tarts tonight and now its time for Cole and I to go through all the goodies and put a lot of them away and I am am sure eat some as well.

  1. 1. The Pup is adorable.
    2. MC looks so grown up sitting in the chair thing (that's how they market it, right? Chair Thing?)!
