Visit with Santa and his Elf

Saturday we went to True Value Hardware to see Santa and Murray his Balloon elf. Meg was very excited in the beginning and gave us the full impression that she was going to sit in his lap. But, when we got there she was apprehensive. Luckily there was no breakdown and she stood on the stool. I did not get a good picture, but luckily they did. I will try to scan it and add later.

Then we waited in line to see Murray the Balloon elf, and have him make Meg a special balloon. She even got to pick out the colors, first she said orange (hush Papa Chuck), then pink, and then at the last minute yellow. Voila, she ended up with a lovely crown....and then she wanted a giraffe. Luckily he very quickly whipped her up a giraffe.
