Full Circle

In the last few weeks we have come full circle. Mary Clark is now older than Meg was when she was born. She talks non-stop, knows how to count to 10, her ABC's, her basic colors, a few shapes and lots of songs. Ironically more country music songs than preschool songs. She also has great manners and is really good at saying "thank you", "please" and "yes ma'am", but not so good at "yes sir". I think she just does it to drive Cole nuts. She also has just really started sitting still for you to read a book to her. She requests Mickey or Dora on occasion but rarely sits still long enough to actually watch it. Mary Clark is more fiesty than Meg, and has lately began to be a little violent, hitting people in he face. She also is no where as good as Meg about sitting and staying in timeout. She is not upset when she is wrong or in trouble, definitely more of an entertainer than a people pleaser. Luckily, she is also a lot less whiney than Meg which is a good thing for Cole and I's sanity. She loves to swing, dance, and do whatever else Meg tells her to do. Also, she is not a fan of having her picture taken and yesterday afternoon she kept telling me "No pictures mama!". But, aside from that me and her had a lovely afternoon eating cake pops on the porch, blowing bubbles, and swinging while Meg was asleep and Cole was playing golf.
