Meg-dates

Meg still loves being in the water, she loves pools, baths (As long as she has rubber ducky), etc. We took her (and Hurley) to the pool last Sunday when we returned home from Chicago and that picture was about all we could take because within about 20 minutes of our arrival it started pouring down rain and we ended up stuck in my friend Connie's pool hut forever. Yes Connie, that is our dog on your pool float, we hope you do not care :) Eventually we braved the POURING DOWN RAIN and just trucked it to the car. I do not have any bath pictures because when I bathe her it is usually me at home alone and I always forget to bring the camera in the room with me. She has been taking baths in the big tub for about a month now. She loves it as long as she has her "princess duck" by her side. If not its bad news. We probably need to invest in a few more bath toys soon.

Meg is also about to crawl. If she wants something she either scoots to it (the best option), tries to scoot/crawl to it and then falls/rolls over (an okay option), or just pitches a mini fit until I give it to her (not a good option). But, I think the baby proofing definitely needs to begin this weekend. She also loves to stand and is trying to pull up, but we really do not have much that is at the level she needs to be successful. Whenever she pulls up on our fingers or on something she just beams with accomplishment. She has the sweetest smile.

Lastly, she also still loves her sissy Hurley, and all dogs for that matter. She gets so excited and waves her hands and feet in the air. We are going to have to watch her when she gets mobile, because I think she will just run up to any dog and think they are as nice as Hurley.

Oh...and I almost forgot. Meg has been drooling excessively since she was 3 1/2 months old. When people meet her, they always say, "I bet she is about to get a tooth" between all the drooling and gnawing on things. But, just today Papa Chuck thought he felt something sharp up under Megs gums, so there may be a tooth sighting soon. But, we are not counting our ducks yet around here!
