We got to Hot Springs around 10:30 Friday night. Meg woke up and played with my parents for a little while and then they volunteered to stay in the room with Meg so that Ashley and I could sleep in a little bit. Like usual, we stayed up late visiting on Friday night and our new idea of sleeping in is to wake up at 7:30 so we did not get that must extra rest. This turned out to be a good thing though. We woke up, ate an early breakfast and got on the water. We were on the water 9:30 and the lake was like glass. Meg loves the boat, but she hates her life jacket. If you had to wear it, you would hate it too. We skied a little bit and rode around and looked at some new homes on the lake Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon we got back on the water after Meg took a much needed nap and we grabbed a bite to eat. Dad and I got to watch a little college football on Saturday afternoon too. It was a little overcast on Saturday and really not that warm so it made it sort of a dull day on the water, but we enjoyed the company and Meg liked riding around with her hair blowing in the wind.

Sunday the weather was a good bit nicer. We went to church, ate at Cracker Barrel, and then it was home to get on the water. Meg did a good job in church. She did not cry or complain about sitting still. The problem was, no one told her that she could not speak. When I say speak, imagine a 9 month old talking at the TOP of her lungs in a dead silent church over a priest with broken English. I am not sure where he was from, but at one point i thought that he was going to make a comment about the commentator in the rear of the church. Don't worry...Ashley and Meg went to the Narthex about half way through mass and crawled around on the floor. I think that they met some Hispanic friends as well.
The water was not as cold, the weather was a good bit warmer and Meg was in a great mood on Sunday afternoon. We were out on the lake for about 3 hours in the middle of the day. We took Meg's float with us and anchored in a shallow spot in the lake so that we could walk around with her in the water. Meg enjoyed the water and we all enjoyed some frosty beverages. On second thought, I think all five of us enjoyed a frosty beverage. Don't worry, Meg only enjoyed how the outside of the cold can felt on her teething gums.

After a couple of hours we went for a ride and then back to the condo for naps and a little Rebel football. The team didn't look great, but we won. That meant I was happy. While we were watching the game a storm rolled in and we decided to just stay put inside for the rest of the afternoon.
