This weekend we decided last minute to go to the aquarium in Chattanooga. We got up early Saturday morning and headed down there. Meg is so obsessed these days with water and fish and everything associated that we knew she would love it. As you can see we had a great time. We even have acquired a new "pet turtle" and some new "penguins" since the visit. The turtles name has varied from "Clark Clark", to "Tuck", to "Whoa", and many others. She also LOVES her Penguins as you can see she lined them all up on Sunday and came running to me saying "picture, picture". So we have to take a picture of her, and Hurley and the 6 penguins. Which was a feat in itself getting all 8 of them to pose! I cannot even tell you what part was Meg's favorite because she LOVED it all. We heard "up here" more times than I can remember, she wanted to get as close as possible and not miss out on a thing. She did get disappointed at first because we were taking her away from the fish and water...she did not realize there was plenty more to come! Also, once we told her that the shark was coming towards her and going to "get you" she got a little upset at first. But, then thought it was funny and kept saying "get you", "get you". The butterfly room was cool too, but I think she had a hard time really enjoying it with all that was going on in there. But, she did see a few up close.
We had a great time and the day was going so well, that we decided to drive straight back into Nashville to go to Babies R US to look at double strollers. We have been round and round about this. Almost had one, then lost out to it online, looked and looked and have not been able to decide. This is the only place that even keeps a few in stock. We came home with one...it will be fine I am sure. But, I am not really sure that any of them would make me completely happy.
So after our very busy day, my 38+ week pregnant self was WIPED out!! We got take-out from Outback for dinner and I made Cole take Meg for a ride in the car with him to pick it up because I was a zombie. It was definitely worth it though!
There is also a picture from Sunday afternoon of Meg looking at the digital picture frame. She loves doing this and naming everyone she sees. She used to say "baby" when she say pictures of her when she was younger but now she realizes they are her. I am sure she will get confused when pictures of "Mary Clark Clark" go on there as well. Yes, we have often added the Mary to the front, but NEVER drop one of the Clark's. She is such a funny little girl!
