Rainy Day....

This summer we have been so fortunate to have pretty weather, hot but pretty. Meg and I have spent practically every free day at the pool. But, this morning we woke up and it was raining cats and dogs and was supposed to all day so we went to the Peek a Boo Playtown . I had seen it one day while driving by and then saw another friends Facebook pictures from being there so I decided this was the perfect day to try it out!!! It opened at 9 and that was what we were shooting for, but we made it there about 9:30. We were running late due to a run in with Meg's carseat and some ants...another story for another day! By, 10:15 or so the place was packed because everyone else had the same idea we did. At 11 we walked over to McAlisters to meet Cole for lunch and then we all 3 came back. Cole only stayed about 10 minutes but Meg and I stayed another hour for her to play. When we returned she had really warmed up to the place and was a little more comfortable playing. She loved the slide, especially once she was able to climb up and go down by herself. She kept saying "self, self" and then clapping when she got to the bottom. She also would always want to make sure I was giving her my undivided attention and would say "watch mama, watch!!". I think she had a great time. They have a lunchroom there so we may go back soon with friends and pack our lunch. Once you enter though you can come and go as much as you would like for that day. It was the perfect way to spend a rainy day!
