Engagement celebration/relaxing day

Today we had champagne and desert at Barrett's moms house for an engagement celebration. This was an impromptu get together because mom and dad were here to help me with the girls since Cole was gone and I had CHS graduation festivities this weekend. Also, they have been here since Thursday night because luckily they came up early when they heard I was at the hospital with Mary Clark. We had some yummy dips and chips/crackers as well as mini cupcakes and fruit pastries. Gay had set up the girls a little tea party table, which was very sweet and thoughtful of her. We have not spent any time with her and she was very welcoming to all of us especially the girls.

Afterwards I took the girls to my friend Connie's house to nap so I could lounge by the pool. Kara is housesitting there while they are in Florida. They both slept for about 2 hours and it was so nice and relaxing.
